Begin 2017 with this grounding, empowering and liberating program of yoga, song and dance!
On January 13th, Melissa Scott, Shannon Skipper and Laura Gaines combine three different sessions into one unique, joyful evening.
This evening is designed for women of all fitness levels, adult ages (+15). No yoga, singing or dance experience necessary.
Yoga – (approx. 30 minutes) – Melissa’s Core Strength Vinyasa classes develop deep core strength and focus on moving from center, both on and off the mat. She combines her knowledge of Western psychology and Eastern philosophy for classes that are creative, challenging, and deeply centering. Kirtan – (approx. 30 minutes) – Shannon will lead us in this ancient practice of chanting for a healthy body mind and soul. Come sing your heart out or just get some good vibrations through the soulful, heart opening path of bhakti yoga.
SOL Dance Experience – (approx. 30 minutes) – We turn the music up loud and the lights completely off for this exercise in abandoning limiting inhibitions, self-consciousness and judgments. We will have small breaks between each program. Wear comfortable clothing. You need bring only your open mind and heart. (And your yoga gear if you wish. We’ll have mats on hand.)
