Undefeated heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder will return home to Alabama to defend his title on Feb. 25 at Legacy Arena in Birmingham.
Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs), nicknamed “The Bronze Bomber,” has not fought since breaking his right hand and tearing his right biceps muscle in an eighth-round stoppage of challenger Chris Arreola in July. He underwent two surgeries following that fight.
This will be the fourth defense of Wilder’s WBC title in his home state for the Tuscaloosa native.
