Sylacauga Community Playhouse Production: The Miracle Worker

Presented by Sylacauga Community Playhouse at B.B. Comer Memorial Elementary School

The Sylacauga Community Playhouse  will present William Gibson’s The Miracle Worker.  The production tells the story of young Helen Keller, deaf and blind since infancy, who finds her way into the world of knowledge and understanding with the help of Annie Sullivan, her gifted tutor.  In some of the most emotion-packed scenes ever presented on stage, Helen overcome rage and confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities.

SCP will also be offering six school performances of The Miracle Worker that will be closed to the public.  Teachers may contact SCP for pricing, dates, and educational material.

The Miracle Worker is produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc.
