Students will work weekly with faculty and student mentors from UAB School of Engineering to learn early engineering principles and concepts through the programming and use of microcomputers and simple robots, soldering to create copper video game controllers, creation of a miniature smart home with functioning heating and cooling, and working with CAD programs for 3D design.
