Join us for the first solo exhibit of Red Dot student and friend Casey Lancaster. Casey has been studying painting at Red Dot since 2006 and fell in love with oils after a few tries elsewhere at acrylic painting. Her subjects are chosen for their ability to reflect the smooth, buttery feel of oil paint. She has been a mental health professional and educator since 1996 and appreciates the healing power of art. She believes art is a catalyst for the therapeutic process and acknowledges that every subject she selects has psychological origins and musical influences.
