In celebration of Black History Month, Jefferson State brings Chicago writer Melda Beaty to the Shelby Campus for a morning reading and an afternoon writing workshop. Both events are free and open to all. The Reading is at 11:30 AM in the Health Sciences Bldg., Room 156, book signing and reception to follow. The afternoon Writing Workshop begins at 2:30 PM in the General Studies Bldg., Room 320. Both events are fee and open to everyone.
