The Philosophy of Engineering for the Burj Khalifa, the World's Tallest Structure

The American Institute of Architects in Birmingham and the Structural Engineers Association of Alabama welcome Lawrence Novak of Portland Concrete Association, the lead structural engineer for the tallest building in the WORLD, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Novak will speak about his experience designing and working on the structural systems for the skyscraper, which is 2,722 feet high and 160 stories.
