Homewood Theatre proudly presents “The Last Five Years” starring Leah Luker, Chris Sams, and Elizabeth and Clint Pridgen. Come see this wonderful show that was a big 2002 Off-Broadway hit and went on to be released as a movie in 2015. The story explores a five-year relationship between a rising novelist, and a struggling actress. The show uses a form of storytelling in which female lead’s story is told in reverse chronological order (beginning the show at the end of the marriage), and male lead’s account is told in chronological order (starting just after the couple have first met). It’s going to be a mesmerizing night at the theatre as this young couple carries us with them on an arc from first infatuation to final disillusionment.
