Do you enjoy bicycling or walking? The B-Active Plan is intended to identify what improvements are needed to make our trails and bicycle facilities safer and more well connected within the greater Birmingham region. 

The project team at the Regional Planning Commission of Greater Birmingham wants to better understand what streets and intersections are of concern for people who desire to walk and bike in the greater Birmingham Region. We want walking and bicycling to become more attractive as an alternative to using your car, whether if it’s for commuting, recreation or running errands.  

Come by the Railroad Park pavilion anytime between 4-7pm to pick up a take a two-minute survey, learn more about our online mapping tool to collect input, and sign up for project updates to B-involved in the B-Active Plan for our regional trail and bicycle system. Free t-shirts and water bottles will be given away to those that participate!

Information boards and maps will be on display to help you better understand our current bicycle and trail system. Help us identify gaps and barriers in the system, and desired routes for the future!
