Join us for a Handwork Gallery Show by Sarah Gurganus, Alabama Waldorf School Handwork Teacher, on Sunday, May 17th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at El Barrio Restaurante y Bar, 2211 2nd Ave N, Downtown Birmingham. 

Ms. Gurganus will present a short lecture about her studies in the Waldorf Handwork Teacher Certification program at Sunbridge College in New York. Projects from the Waldorf Handwork curriculum will also be on display. 

She will also talk about the Waldorf Handwork curriculum for grades 1 through 8 and the benefits to brain development and a sense of self worth that handwork provides to children and adolescents.
