Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis

Take Steps for Crohn's & Colitis

Presented by Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America - AL/NW FL Chapter at Homewood Central Park

More than 250 people will walk for cures in the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Birmingham Take Steps Walk on Saturday, April 29 at 5:00 PM at Homewood Central Park. Take Steps is a family friendly community celebration dedicated to raising mission critical funds and awareness of Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, two painful, debilitating digestive diseases that affect 1 in 200 Americans, including 80,000 children nationwide.

Funds raised through Take Steps will directly impact vital treatment, research, and life-giving patient programs for 1.6 million Americans who live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis. Our walks are family-friendly festivals dedicated to our patients and their families and serves as a celebration for all the hard work and dedication of our community. Participants connect with other patients, families, and caregivers throughout the community, creating a web of support for IBD patients in the local area.
