taste of science Birmingham Festival

at Birmingham Museum of Art

Interested of the functions of our brain? Curious about the chemistry of chocolate? Or are you even wondering how are some people able to deceive others so easily? Come to our festival to ask any questions that you have an interest in and learn about things that you may have never even thought about before!

taste of science is an annual festival that happens in many cities around the country. We are excited to announce that Birmingham, Alabama will be having the first taste of science festival in our own city in the last week of April. Even if you don’t have a scientific background, this festival is an awesome way to learn more about the science behind common topics and have fun while learning about it! Local scientists will be coming to share their work and anyone is allowed to come, listen, learn, and particpate.

For our first ever festival this year, we will be working to bring local scientists to favorite restaurants, coffee shops, and bars to learn about the most captivating topics happening in science today! Our local scientists are excited to come share their knowledge and make science fun for anyone interested.

We are going to be having our festival from April 23-28, 2017 in various locations around Birmingham. Please check our website for more details on each event. Follow our Facebook and Twitter page (@tasteofsciBHM) for updates and be sure to spread the word about our upcoming events! We are selling tickets for only $5 per event, so be sure to purchase them on our website.
