An explosion of flavors!  

The 20th annual Corks & Chefs, presented by Kinetic Communications, is the place where place where art is paired with food, beer, wine, and cocktails. This popular tasting event, held in conjunction with the 34th Magic City Art Connection festival, is tented and teeming with patrons sampling delicious culinary creations from many of Birmingham’s favorite restaurants. 8-10 talented chefs, plus great wines, craft beers, coffee, and tea are showcased each day.

Cocktail features are being expanded in 2017. The Collins Bar will be serving up a series of craft cocktails to taste.

Corks & Chefs continues to offer enhanced experiences at its popular seminars and special, guided tastings & demos at The Side Room (presented by Forecast Salon) and Back Room (presented by BBVA Compass).

2017 Side Room Features

– Birmingham author, Clair McLafferty is talking about her new book, The Classic & Craft Cocktail Recipe book. She’s leading a class & demo called The Sweet Perks of Sour Cocktails
– Bartender and cocktail guru, Steva Casey, of the Louis at The Pizitz and Tiki by the Sea coordinator is teaching patrons to make the perfect martini.
– Gia Bivens of International Wines & Craft Beer is talking about vermouths and fortified wines.

We encourage guests to keep moving between Corks & Chefs and finding art in the park. Or feel free to lounge on the patio and watch the festival activity go by while enjoying a tasty dish or glass of wine. There is no better time to be a foodie in the South. With the explosion of great restaurants on the scene, Birmingham has been garnering national attention for its food, positioning itself as a hot food city. We even made Zagat’s list! Corks & Chefs looks forward to spotlighting the many tastes of Birmingham this Spring in downtown’s Linn Park. $35 Advance / $45 at the Door
All Corks & Chefs tickets include admission to the festival.
Please bring your InstaGift digital ticket voucher on your phone or as a print outfor scanning. Present voucher with bar code at one of the festival gates located at Linn Park’s central entrance points – North Gate @ Rev Abraham Woods, Jr. Blvd (8th Ave N) OR South Gate @ Park Place & 20th Street.

RAIN POLICY
Corks & Chefs is tented. The tasting event happens Rain or Shine. 

PROCEEDS SUPPORT
Proceeds from Corks & Chefs support arts education free for 1200 Birmingham city school 3rd and 4th graders attending Imagination Festival on Friday, and hundreds more over the 3 day weekend.
