Portfolio Development Summer Art Camp Grades 6-12

Portfolio Development Summer Art Camp Grades 6-12

Presented by Space One Eleven at Space One Eleven

Are you a serious high school art student who plans to major in art or design in college? Are you a younger student who would like to apply to an art-focused high school such as ASFA? If so, this intensive, one week course will help you build or enhance your portfolio. Students will have the exceptional opportunity of individual portfolio reviews and recommendations to be conducted by Dr. Mary Ann Culotta, former Examiner of Art and Design in the Southeast for the International Baccalaureate Organization. Following Dr. Cullota’s recommendations, teaching artist and Savannah Collage of Art and Design graduate, Andy Jordan will guide students to develop their individual projects. Students will strengthen foundation skills by rendering works from life, and will have the experience of peer critiques in progress. Summer Art Camps are a perfect way for young artists to learn a new art form or improve upon their art skills! These camps give young artists ample time to dive into their projects, make friends, and create a piece of art ready for the end of summer art exhibition in July. All camps are taught by working artists in Space One Eleven’s professional art studios. Register Here
