Teen Writing Workshop

Presented by Irondale Public Library at Irondale Public Library

Spend an hour a week in June, writing and sharing your work in a safe and fun environment! Writers of all levels and genres are welcome. Led by experienced writing workshop leader, Katherine Webb. For people ages 11-18.

Teens are welcome to stay and write after the meetings until 12.

About Katherine: Writer, editor, and teacher, Katherine has led Teens Out Loud, a partnership with Duke  University and UNC-Wilmington, a monthly writing workshop for teenagers born HIV positive. Locally, Katherine has taught at UAB, led Hoover Public Library’s WRITE Program, and is the director of the Nitty Gritty Magic City Reading Series.  Her work has been featured in Weld, B-Metro and The New York Times.
