Build a Better YOU: Teens Engineer BHM with Computer Programming

Presented by Birmingham Public Library at Ensley Branch Library (BPL)

Want to be a hacker or programmer? Do you look at electronics through the world and wonder what makes them tick? Then join us as we take a look at the Arduino microcomputer, learn how to code and program it, and make it work with LED lights and other electrical components. Under the guidance of our phenomenal UAB Engineering Student Mentors, you can learn the basics of programming in an afternoon, and surely impress even your most skeptical of friends! This program is brought to you in part by a Community Impact Grant from the UAB Benevolent Fund.
