Come for red, white and blue all-American family FUN this summer at the American Village! Step back in time and become part of the great American journey for independence and self-government. Meet people of the past such at Patrick Henry and Dolley Madison. Enjoy Colonial games on the green. You may even be conscripted into George Washington’s Continental Army! Read the Village Gazette upon your arrival at the Visitors Center to fine out each day’s revolutionary events. Choose one or all from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Be sure your visit includes a tour of the new National Veterans Shrine and Register or Honor.

Take a Revolutionary journey and receive an official Yankee Doodle Dandy Certificate upon completion. Replicas of Mount Vernon, the Concord Bridge, the Oval Office and much more can be found on our 183 acres of picturesque land in Montevallo. A trip to the American Village is a great outing for families, Scouts, vacation Bible schools, and community boys and girls clubs. We are also a great spot for family reunions.
