TASTE OF 4TH AVENUE JAZZ FESTIVAL is a one day jazz festival presented annually since 2003 in Birmingham’s Historic 4th Avenue District Downtown.  This year’s TASTE OF 4TH AVENUE JAZZ FESTIVAL will take place August 29th on the streets and venues of the city’s downtown Historic Fourth Avenue Business District, giving the community “A Taste” of the rich cultural heritage of the area. TASTE OF 4TH AVENUE JAZZ FESTIVAL is a dynamic event featuring local, regional and nationally renowned jazz artists.  The FESTIVAL is a FREE community event providing first class entertainment, a diverse selection of food vendors and children’s village for all to enjoy. Business merchants include Urban Impact, Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame-Carver Performing Arts Theater, Green Acres Café, Masonic Temple , and Magic City Barber Shop.
