TCR is always looking for new faces and fresh talent to expand the league! Join us June 22nd 7:30-10pm and June 24th 8:00 – 10:00 pm at Funtime Skate Center in Fultondale, Al. All ladies welcome. Must be 19+ You do NOT have to have previous skating experience to participate. In these workshops, we will go over the basics of derby: how we skate, how we hit, and how we play. Recruitment is the first phase of your derby education and career.

From the moment you show up at your first post-recruitment practice you become part of our Rookie program. As you progress through the program and pass certain skill requirements, you will be eligible to be selected to represent our WFTDA ranked team, the Tragic City All-Stars. Those not placed on the All-Star roster may be selected to skate for our B-Team.

Skates and protective gear will be available for loan.
