Better watch out, better not cry, Christmas is coming to town this July! The inaugural “Sturrock’s Christmas in July” will raise awareness and funds for Children’s of Alabama’s Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center on Saturday, July 25 at Old Car Heaven (3501 1st Avenue South) from 7 – 11 p.m. The event will honor the memory of Emily Sturrock who passed away at 37 years old from a heart attack in 2014. Sturrock had an undetected congenital heart defect.The evening will include dinner provided by Ashley Mac’s, Bar 31 and Rogue Tavern. Guests can look forward to holiday-themed live music, Christmas décor and a silent auction.
