REV Birmingham (REV) and Five Points South Bham are proud to present Red, White and Brews in Five Points South, a two day 4th of July promotion celebrating America’s birthday and Good People Brewing Companies 7th Anniversary. The event takes place Friday July 3rd and Saturday July 4th, and featuring food, fireworks, $4 Good People Brews at Five Points-area restaurants and bars.

Attendees can hang with friends, on Friday July 3rd during the Good People 4th of July Birthday Grub Crawl. REV and area merchants will guide the Good People crew and area visitors around to seven participating eateries and bars from 6pm to Midnight. Participants will enjoy $4 Good People Brews, food specials, live music and birthday giveaways including gift cards and swag throughout the evening. A special birthday giveaway from Birmingham Mountain Radio will be given to one lucky crawl at the last stop, which will include one pair of tickets to Alabama Shakes with Drive By Truckers, August 20 at Tuscaloosa amphitheater. Alabama Shakes Sophomore album went to number 1 on the billboard charts soon after its release, this show will sell out. 

Following the crawl, the community is encouraged to return to Five Points South on Saturday July 4th, to grab food and drinks from area merchants who will be open, then secure a spot with family and friends to watch Vulcan’s “Thunder on the Mountain” atop Red Mountain at 9pm.
