Grammy Award Winner

With over a dozen albums to his credit, platinum recording artist and Grammy award winner George Winston is one of the most recognized solo pianists in the world. Winston’s concerts feature his signature style of rural folk piano, New Orleans R&B and stride. Acclaimed albums include Autumn, December, Winter Into Spring  and Summer, inspired by the seasons and topographies, as well as his Vince Guaraldi “Peanuts” tribute album, Linus and Lucy – the Music of Vince Guaraldi, and rock-inspired recording, Night Divides the Day – The Music of The Doors.

Ever evolving, Winston is also recording on slack key guitar, which is the beautiful fingerstyle guitar tradition, unique to Hawaii, which began in the early 1800s and predated the
steel guitar by over half a century.
