Grammy Award Winner
With over a dozen Top 40 hits to his credit, Larry Gatlin is an icon in country music. His career, spanning four decades, has taken him from dusty Texas stages to the White House and from Broadway to the Grammy awards. Raised on gospel music, Larry found himself in Nashville in the early 70s, aided by the legendary Dottie West, writing songs that would be recorded by Johnny Cash, Kris Kristofferson and Elvis Presley, while songs he recorded with his brothers, Steve and Rudy, such as “Sweet Becky Walker,” “Broken Lady” and “All the Gold in California,” landed them atop the country charts.
Ever versatile, Gatlin also starred as the lead in the Tony award winning musical, The Will Rogers Follies, on Broadway.
