Make your very own wood cutting board during our introductory woodworking class. Broken up over two classes, the four hour class will walk you through the process of turning rough-cut hardwood into dimensional pieces and then into butcher block assembly. In addition to safety training and learning best practices, you will have the opportunity to work with such machines as a joiner, plainer, sander, drop saw and table saw. Throughout the entire class an instructor will help guide you through the process and guarantee your safety. If you have conflicts with the second class date, you may join any of the upcoming cutting board class days to finish up your project. No prior experience is necessary and all materials as well as safety equipment will be provided.
