Mom ‘N’ I Publishing, LLC co-owner Mary Sood will present free parent-child etiquette classes in conjunction with the release of Yellow Kitten Learns Good Manners, the first in the publisher’s new Yellow Kitten book series.  Upcoming classes are Wednesday, July 26,  2 p.m. at the Patton Creek Barnes & Noble in Hoover, AL and Thursday, July 27, 11 a.m. at Ernest and Hadley Booksellers in Tuscaloosa, AL.  Children are invited to bring their stuffed animals (preferably kittens) to the events.  Participants in the Ernest and Hadley program are encouraged to register in advance by signing up at the bookstore or sending a contact name and the number of participants to momnipublishing@gmail.com.    

Class participants will practice their table manners; learn how to set a formal table; and practice meeting and greeting each other.  They wlll also read Yellow Kitten Learns Good Manners, which reinforces important messages that many parents are trying to teach their children about courtesy and kindness.
