“Celebrate the Night in Black & White” on Saturday, August 12th at Picasso Pets in the heart of downtown. Now in its 17th year, Picasso Pets is Hand in Paw’s largest fundraiser and one Birmingham’s liveliest galas. Guests can mingle with star therapy animals, peruse a top-notch silent auction, sip craft beer, wine, and specialty cocktails, and enjoy delicious Southern cuisine.

 Spotlights will shine on paintings created by well-known artists in collaboration with pets belonging to members of our community. Dogs, cats, goats, horses, pigs, turtles, and parrots have all made their artistic debuts through Picasso Pets, creating truly special and memorable pieces.

 The night’s live auction will include an assortment of trips, dining experiences, art, jewelry and other unique packages. Proceeds will support Hand in Paw’s mission to improve human health and well-being through Animal-Assisted Therapy.

 General Admission tickets are $200; reserved tables of eight are $2,000. Attire is black and white cocktail.

 All tickets include access to the silent auction, hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine, a specialty cocktail, a seated three-course surf and turf dinner, and an opportunity to participate in the live auction.
