Presented by Oak Mountain State Park at Oak Mountain State Park

September 5, 2015 – 10:00 a.m. – The Light Trail Hike – Meet the Naturalist at the entrance to the Light Trail located in the Campground to take a walk and learn about any nature that we come across. The terrain is gently rolling. Dress accordingly. Bring water.

September 6, 2015 – 9:30 a.m. – Maggie’s Glen Hike – Meet the Naturalist at the North Trailhead on John Findley Drive for a walk to Maggie’s Glen. The hike is about 2 ½ miles round trip. Dress accordingly and bring water. We will go out on the Yellow Trail, therefore, portions of the trail will be uphill on the way and we will return via the White Trail, which should be relatively flat.

September 7, 2015 – 10:00 a.m. – Nature Crafts – There is beauty found in a leaf, a twig, or even a rock. Let’s use some of these natural items to make a craft. We will be at the B-side Pavilion in the Campground.
