See Sloss and experience downtown Birmingham like never before in Kid One’s Trick or Trot 5K!
The Trick or Trot 5K is a costume run benefiting Kid One Transport. The race starts and ends at Sloss Furnaces National Historic Landmark and takes runners through the Lakeview District of Birmingham. This is a chip- timed race. Runners of all ages, strollers and pets are welcome! Costumes are not required but are encouraged! The event includes post-race food and a “Bloody Mary Bar” for the adults and post-race events including music and activities for kids. Along with race awards there will be awards given for Biggest Team, Most Spirited Team (Best Costumes), Most Spirited Individual (Best Costume), Most Spirited Kid (Best Costume), and Most Spirited Pet & Owner (Best Costume)!
All proceeds from the Trick or Trot 5K benefit Kid One Transport and will raise funds to provide transportation to medical care for children and expectant mothers throughout Alabama.
Entry fee for the 5K is $25 through September 30 and goes up to $30 on October 1. Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up will be at the The Trak Shak on Friday, October 20th from 11 am until 6 pm. Late Packet Pick-Up and Registration will be race day ($35). The race starts at 8 am, so please try to pre-register! Any registration after 10/15 cannot be guaranteed a race t-shirt.
