The Chilton County Firefighters Association will host the Sixth Annual Chilton County Firefighter Association Fun Day from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2015.

The event will be held at the Central Alabama Horse Club arena in Clanton off Highway 145 at Interstate 65 Exit 212. It is free to all Chilton County residents.

Attractions will include appearances by Smokey the Bear and Sparky the Fire Dog, Charles Daniel form ABC3340, free games with prizes, inflatables, a dunking booth, cake walks, fire hose games, a fire safety trailer, fire trucks and tankers, ladder trucks, ambulances and rescue trucks, free t-shirts, free hot dogs, drinks, chips and cookies and a gospel music singing.  (We will possibly have Haynes Life Flight as well.)

This is a great way to spend the day with the family.  The kids can see all different types of firefighter gear and equipment that is used within our county to help keep our county residents safe.

Fun Day is supported by RPS Ambulance Service, Care Ambulance Service, Alabama Forestry Division and many corporate sponsors throughout the county.
