United Way’s Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) is holding seven events throughout Jefferson County for Medicare open enrollment. Enrollment begins 10/15 and runs through 12/7. Alabama’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides free, unbiased counseling year-round, facilitated through UWAAA.
