United Way’s Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) is holding seven events throughout Jefferson County for Medicare open enrollment. Alabama’s State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides free, unbiased counseling year-round, facilitated through UWAAA. At this event, Medicare specialists will be available to review your current coverage or help you to enroll in a plan.
