The Friends of Avondale Park has adopted Avondale Park, through a partnership with People Against a Littered State (P.A.L.S.), and pledge to work to keep it free of litter.

Mark your calendars, “Join” the event and plan to be with the Friends of Avondale Park for our monthly Clean Up at Avondale Park. 

Saturday, September 12th from 8am-9am at the Rose Garden Pavilion on 40th Street South. Plan to bring your trusty clean up tools and gloves. We will provide the trash bins and garbage bags and other helpful clean up tools.
In case of inclement weather, we will meet on Sunday, September 13th from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm.

This event is sponsored by the Friends of Avondale Park for its members and anyone concerned about litter in our park and willing to pitch in and help do something about it. This is a wonderful way to be a role model for the younger ones in the community so, bring a kiddo and show them how to care for the places that mean the most to us.
