FOCUS will host its annual Spirit of Recovery Celebration to celebrate this work, the courageous women we serve, and those who support making lasting recovery a reality. Won’t you join us? The Spirit of Recovery Celebration will not only prove our commitment to decreasing the occurrence of this shockingly prevalent epidemic, but will also benefit a truly worthy cause, saving women’s lives.

FOCUS On Recovery, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, serves an average of 90 women a year who are battling the disease of addiction. Alcohol and drug addiction is a serious problem that affects the lives of numerous individuals in our community and around the nation. In case you haven’t heard – Alabama is in crisis. Alabama has four (4) of the top 15 U.S. cities with the highest rate of opioid abuse in the United States. Deaths from heroin and opiates are at an epidemic level.

We’re thrilled that you will be joining us this year as we strive to bring FOCUS and its mission to the forefront of our community. Thanks to you, this will be one of the most successful luncheons in our history. Together, we will embark on a bold and exciting mission to eliminate the bias and stigma for women in recovery as we strive to bring hope and lasting recovery to their lives.
