The recent works of Birmingham artist, Troy Crisswell, will be shown at The Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham during the months of November – January.  His love of painting first began during high school at Indian Springs School and he continued studying at Birmingham Southern College.  Crisswell combines realism with surrealistic elements in many of his works.  Steve Masterson of The Acoustic Cafe stated, “He sees things in a strange way and has the ability to take wet paint and arrange it so you can see what he sees.”
