Get into the Halloween spirit at the third annual Trick or Trot 5K on October 24th at 8:00 a.m. The Trick or Trot 5K is a costume run that takes place on a flat course in downtown Birmingham, Alabama. The race starts and ends at Sloss Furnaces, a National Historic Landmark, and features an out-and-back course with a turn-around at Trim Tab Brewing Company.

The event includes a post-race breakfast and “Bloody Mary Bar” for the adults and post-race events including music and activities for kids. Registration includes goody bags, Trick or Trot t- shirts, and a finisher medal. Along with race awards there will be awards given for Biggest Team and Most Spirited Team (Best Costumes), Most Spirited Individual (Best Costume), and Most Spirited Kid (Best Costume). To be considered for an award in the costume contest please visit the Judge’s Table between 7:00 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. Runners of all ages, strollers and pets are welcome! Costumes are not required to participate but are encouraged – the crazier the better!
