“MPWA  will host its 5th Annual Girls Conference Saturday, October 17, 2015, 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., at G.W. Carver High School.  Themed: “Under Construction: A Determined, Dedicated and Educated Generation of Girls” the conference will have breakout sessions and speakers focusing on developing character, creating a vision board and image consulting.  The conference is for teen girls, ages 12-19 years old.  Carver High School is located at:  3900 24th St. North, Birmingham, AL 35207.  Continental Breakfast & Lunch will be served. Signed parental permission slips are required for teens under age 17 for the image consulting session and will be on-hand at the Conference.  Flyers and permission slips may also be obtained at Birmingham middle & high schools.
