The Book Writing Boot Camp

The Book Writing Boot Camp

Presented by Hunter Street Baptist at Hunter Street Baptist Church

Author Denise George will be hosting The Book Writing Boot Camp in Birmingham, November 5-7, for writers who are interested in publishing books and articles.

On Friday, November 6, the seminar “Story Crafting” will take place 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Hunter Street Baptist Church in Hoover. In this seminar, George will teach writers how to outline and write stories that will make articles and books more appealing, highly readable, and well loved.

The seminar “Narrative Nonfiction” will take place Saturday, November 7, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Hunter Street Baptist. This seminar will focus on how to write one of the most popular types of books today, narrative nonfiction, a true story that reads like exciting, page-turning fiction.

Publisher Penguin Random House released George’s latest narrative nonfiction book, Behind Nazi Lines, in August.

Cost for each seminar is $149 or $285 for both, which includes a free lunch and a free copy of the workbook that accompanies each seminar.

Preceding these two seminars is a special session of “The Writing Minister” on Thursday, November 5, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. In this seminar, George will highlight the many writing and publishing opportunities available to today’s pastors, church leaders, and ministry leaders. She will teach ministers how to step into the world of publishing, write and publish new material, and adapt for publication previously written material from years of active ministry. Cost for this seminar is $99.

Spaces are limited and registration is now open online. For more information or to register for The Book Writing Boot Camp, visit www.bookwritingbootcamp.org.
