Observe the drawing process of professional artist Jamison Harper as he is inspired by artwork on display in a gallery. Ask questions and learn about the artist’s techniques and materials. Make your own drawing in the same gallery with provided materials and under the guidance of the teaching artist.
Be inspired by artwork and artistic practices found in the Museum’s exhibitions and permanent collection. Learn about similar processes and techniques from professional teaching artists. Create your own work of art while receiving feedback and guidance throughout your artmaking process. Each class will provide foundational information while being open-ended to allow you to create your own art.
Look for a sign at either entrance with information about which gallery!
