Mark your calendars, “Join” the event and plan to be with the Friends of Avondale Park for our monthly Clean Up at Avondale Park. 

Saturday, October 10th from 8:00 am – 9:00 am at the Rose Garden Pavilion on 40th Street South. Plan to bring your trusty clean up tools and gloves. We will provide the trash bins and garbage bags.
In case of inclement weather, we will meet on Sunday, October 11th from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. In this effort, we partner with People Against a Littered State in their “Don’t Drop it on Alabama” campaign where groups around the state organize to clean up the places they care about. Also, this is a wonderful way to be a role model for the younger ones in the community so, bring a kiddo and show them how to care for the places that mean the most to us.
