A key component of Altamont’s Global Initiative, the GEL Series returns on January 31, 2018. Global in scope and based on a contemporary lecture/multimedia format, GEL features engaging presentations on the topic of health and human rights.
Now in its fifth year, Altamont’s Global Initiative continues to grow and improve—awarding grants to students and faculty for projects and travel, enhancing curriculum, and exposing our students to global experiences and issues.
A key component of the Global Initiative, the GEL Series returns on January 31, 2018. Global in scope and loosely based on various contemporary lecture/multimedia series (TED, Radiolab, ArcLight, et. al.) GEL 3: Patchwork features engaging presentations to the school and Birmingham community on the topic of health and human rights. GEL 3 is free and open to the public.
