Broadway stars, Ben and Katie Hope, are coming back home to teach a master class for YOU!

Ben and Katie are a married couple that have more than 20 years professional experience between them in the theatre world.  Ben is a Birmingham native and Katie is a BFA graduate from the theatre department at Birmingham Southern, so they are thrilled to share their experience with the students in Alabama.  Katie just recently came off of 3 years of a Broadway tour with the hit show Million Dollar Quartet and Ben just finished a 3 year Broadway run with the Tony Award winning musical ONCE.  Ben and Katie bring a fresh, real world perspective to theatre training, as they’ve worked in almost every level and capacity in the business.

The audition is the day job of the actor.  Working on a show is the easy part, getting into a show is where the real work comes in.  From prepping your material to what outfit you should wear, there’s help on the way!  Ben Hope and Katie Barton have been in NYC for a decade and have worked at the highest levels in the theatre world.  Let their experience be your guide as they give live coaching to students and lots of great advice from the auditions they’ve done well and the ones that slipped away.  Students will have the opportunity to perform cuts of audition material for Ben and Katie and will also hear first hand advice about auditions for regional theatre, Broadway theatre, TV and film, and college programs.  Sign up now!  Only 20 slots available.
