M-POWER Ministries is proud to announce Restaurant Give-Back Day to be held Monday, Oct. 19, where a selection of Birmingham restaurants, coffee shops and bars will donate a portion of their day’s sales to M-POWER. From local coffee houses to well-known area restaurants, the public is encouraged to show support by dining and drinking at participating establishments. Current participating restaurants include Red Cat Coffeehouse, The Abbey and Hamburger Heaven on Highway 280. This event is part of Taste of the Magic City, a four-day event benefitting M-POWER Ministries.

This event, presented by ProAssurance, invites Birmingham residents to enjoy a taste of the Magic City while giving back to the community and supporting the efforts of M-POWER Ministries, a nonprofit located in Avondale helping to break the cycle of poverty by providing education and health services to Jefferson County residents. The Taste of the Magic City is a four day event that will take place Monday, Oct. 19 through Thursday, Oct. 22. The four events include: Restaurant Give-Back Day, a Farm to Table Experience at Little Savannah, an Italian Wine Dinner at Silvertron Café and finally, Taste Live!, where guests can sample culinary creations from some of Birmingham’s best restaurants.
