Space One Eleven is launching monthly Drop-in Art Nights! Drop-in and check out Space One Eleven’s clay studio, make clay tiles, and enjoy a drink. You can create a coaster, wall hanging, trivet, house numbers, or simply a work of art. The nice thing about this art event is that you could stay for the whole event or you can drop-in any time and make a tile while you wait on a dinner reservation!

Unsure of your art skills? Don’t worry all skill levels are welcome! Artist, Miriam Omura, will walk you through how to create a tile and will have a variety of template choices.

Miriam Omura is a Birmingham based textile artist focused on weaving. Recently she has started to explore other mediums including ceramics. Omura was a 2017 recipient of an individual artist grant in Craft from the Alabama State Council on the Arts. She has exhibited in galleries across the southeast.
