Marvin Dixon, the funniest man in America, even though you may not know his name. This Miami native has been making people laugh for over two decades while his long running weekly comedy show has served as the launching pad for numerous comedians including Mike Epps, Bruce Bruce, Guy Torry Sommore and countless others.

Marvin, ready to take his career to the next level, is now embarking on a national tour: the “I’m So Hood Comedy Tour.” Tour name “I’m So Hood,” is based on the wonderful recollections Marvin has of his youth, growing up in the inner city. The hood carries so many negative connotations that Marvin wanted to show a positive, more humorous side of that experience and his remembrances will have the audience falling out of their seats.

Joining Marvin on tour will be some of his favorite comedians, the ones he says actually make him laugh. Our host Damon Williams along with Cocoa Brown, “Jammin” Jay Lamont and Henry Welch will share the stage as they crisscross the country. Oh, and let’s not forget DJ “Dolla Bill” who’ll be laying down the beats.
