On Saturday, February 24, 2018, Alabama Ballet will host an evening of dinner and dancing at the eighteenth annual Pointe Ball at The Club. Proceeds from Pointe Ball, the organization’s largest special event fundraiser, make extensive education and scholarship programs possible.

The 2018 Pointe Ball Honorary Chair is the late Beverly P. Head III, Corporate Chair is Jack Darnall, Executive Vice President of Brasfield & Gorrie, and Gala Chairs are Lindsey Druhan and Jackie Woodall. The 2018 presenting sponsor is Ram Tool & Supply Company.

The event begins with an intimate performance by Alabama Ballet’s professional company members in the Ball Room of The Club. The theme for this year is Swan Lake, the well-known and loved classical ballet to be performed by the Alabama Ballet (and accompanied by the Alabama Symphony Orchestra) in March, 2018, at the BJCC Concert Hall. Following the performance, guests along with Executive Director, Melanie Mooney, Artistic Director, Tracey Alvey, and members from the company will enjoy a gourmet dinner with the amazing night views of Birmingham. After dinner, guests will enjoy dessert and dancing with music provided by Celebrity All Star Band.
