Birmingham attorney and election law expert Edward Still will discuss gerrymandering and redistricting, cases before the Supreme Court, and how voting districts have become less competitive. Mr. Still is a nationally recognized expert on voting rights, election reform, gerrymandering, and rights of employees who serve in the military. He graduated from the University of Alabama and the UA law school. He has lectured on voting rights litigation and election methods at Georgetown University, University of Virginia, and Washington and Lee, among others. In addition, he has been a panelist at regional, national, and international political science meetings and has published a number of scholarly articles.
