The Friedman Family Foundation presents the Jewish Food & Culture Fest featuring the When Pigs Fly Kosher BBQ Cook-Off on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 11AM-3PM on Levite Field. For the first time, the Jewish Food Festival and the When Pigs Fly Kosher BBQ Cook-Off are coming together for a community-wide event. This year will be even more special as we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Israel’s independence.
The event will foster an appreciation for Jewish culture and traditions, and bring together the broader Jewish community in a single powerful effort. Jews and friends of the Jewish community from across Birmingham will come together to enjoy a fun-filled day of delicious food, friendly competition, musical entertainment, and educational activities for all ages. It will also be a great opportunity to celebrate Israel’s 70 years of miraculous achievements.
This event is free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase.
