Tuscaloosa’s summer Shakespeare company will perform the romantic tragedy as the close of its 16th season.
Two households, both alike in …villainy … and the Prince of Verona will roll heads if the Montagues and Capulets can’t stop brawling in the streets. Man-ho Romeo falls in love with yet another pretty face, this one belonging to the daughter of his family’s sworn enemies. Many pretty things are said and done, as well as many ugly ones. Lots of folks die from terminal stupidity, and also love.
All performances are free, though a hat will be passed at curtain call for anyone wishing to help with expenses.
