The CBS Weather Truck, the Birmingham Barons Characters, UAB’s Blaze, Get Bubbly with Birmingham Parent Magazine, see a performance by Birmingham Children’s Theatre, a drum performance by Get Rhythm, Magic Town Clowns will be on- hand for face painting for kids 12 and under and balloon art, and there will be a performance by George Griffin and the Firebirds! Mayor Randall Woodfin and City Council President Valerie Abbott will be joined by other elected officials in leading the birthday song for the Big Guy at 2:00 p.m. Immediately following Bud’s Best Cookies and ice cream provided by Piggly Wiggly will be served.
