Mandi Rae has been singing most of her life and began her love affair with music at an early age. Influenced by her mother’s love for Gospel and her father’s love for a range of music from Roger Miller to Pink Floyd, she began playing guitar and writing songs at the age of 18. Along the way she has amassed a library of over 40 original songs, 3 full length albums and one E.P., picked up the banjo, harmonica, and a live show that keeps the audience engaged and excited.

2016 should prove to be a fine year for rock-n-roll, with Bunny Austin’s third record due in early spring. Blending a late-70’s punk edge with classic sounds from the 60’s best heavy hitters, Bunny Austin’s infectious sound will make you pour super glue on the repeat button. 

Based out of Birmingham, Alabama, Bunny Austin is a ferocious live band with a killer twin-guitar attack that often recalls the deft guitar poetry of Luna, as well as the hunkered-down crunch of Neil Young and Crazy Horse, with just a touch of Sonic Youth-y skronk. Get them going and they can kill a few hours easily – peppering their strong originals (sometimes in expanded form) with well-considered covers.
